How I Was Awarded the UK Global Talent Visa – Gabriel Olatunji-Legend

How I Was Awarded the UK Global Talent Visa and moved to the UK with my family!
Up until 2016, I was writing Amazon best-seller books, coaching lovers into High-Value Partners, building courses, and making an impact online but I knew that wasn’t all my life was about…
Fast forward to 2019, I had grown to become the COO of a media and Public Relations agency, starting as a reporter.
In less than 24 months, I had broken some of the biggest stories in entertainment, managed multiple celebrities and their projects, and developed Product and PR campaigns that generated millions of Naira for the organization…I guess the promotion was a no-brainer.
But what did I do after this? In 2019, I resigned to co-found Afrilearn – a global ed-tech company (start-up) for millions of students. I actively worked on content, product marketing, product management, design, and any area necessary. In a short space of time, we launched multiple products with over 800000 reaches and almost 100000 daily visits.
You could have said it was a foolish decision to resign however I have never been the ‘comfortable’ guy. Oftentimes, I go against popular opinion and belief. At times, it pays off and many times my fingers got burnt. I have failed at more things than I have succeeded at!
At Afrilearn, we were building without a salary but we gave it everything.
In 2022, the United Kingdom needed individuals with exceptional talents and abilities who are building worthwhile digital technology solutions…
Guess who qualified and got the UK Tech Nation Global Talent Visa in the Digital Technology sector? Me!
Gabriel Olatunji-Legend's Global Talent Endorsement letter
Never been a proponent of JAPA (local parlance for migrating by all means) however most of us born in Africa, are already disenfranchised. The best time to make a global movement was years ago, the next best time is NOW.
Just by taking risks and working on things I believed in, I got qualified for the UK Global Talent Visa. Guess what, every other single experience I had in life was important to get the endorsement. Whatever your hand finds to do now, do it well!
In this post, I wrote extensively about the requirements for other people who are interested in this as well. Read it here How I Got the UK Global Talent Visa and Moved with my Family
In the coming days, this platform will be updated with more information concerning this visa and how to thrive living in the UK.
P.S: I run paid consultation sessions for people who work in the digital technology space, qualify, and are looking to get this endorsement. Send me an email at olatunjilegend (@) gmail (dot) com

Hi Mr Gabriel Olatunji, congratulations on the move to UK with your family. I am indeed inspired by the story you published on how you were awarded the UK global talent visa. I was referred to link with you by miss Chioma Onyeweama. She said you’ve both been friends for over 20yrs now. I really want to leave Nigeria to pursue my dream. I am a skilled talented young man. Please I would need you to guide me in every way you can sir. Funds to move has really been another factor even though I have been applying for jobs in UK, US and other international countries. I still look forward to apply for visa sponsorship jobs, although I haven’t seen any yet. I would appreciate if my comment is considered with a kind reply.

    Yours faithfully

    1. Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing your story with me. Firstly, keep believing and working on your goals, they are possible. At the moment, I do not do anything related to sponsorship visas. If you were in tech and have proven track record of development, I may be able to offer you my service.
